The purpose of this workshop is to promote publishing and sharing biodiversity data within Asia for regional biodiversity conservation. The training courses include using GBIF tools to publish biodiversity data, installing and managing IPT2, and how to submit data papers. To achieve the goal of sharing biodiversity information in the Asia region for conservation, we expect the attendees to possess strong willingness and passion to disseminate the knowledge of data publishing through GBIF tool kits and to promote biodiversity information sharing. This workshop will ask attendees to affirm their commitments to become seed trainers to help set up IPT2 as well as to promote publishing and sharing biodiversity data in their own countries.
